Climbs on its wing knuckles, so it perches where nothing can follow and comes down the way a stone does. One compact bolt rather than a gout -- a sustained gout in a chimney cooks the animal that made it.

It grows through four stages, fed and irreversible. A hatchling is not a smaller cute version; it is the adult’s anatomy at a hatchling’s size.
